Friday Favorites!

 

Hey everyone!  Greetings from what is the first of all future installments of Friday Favorites!  Now, I know that Efrain and I really love to cook and (me especially!) bake, but we also want to let you get to know us a bit better as well. 

So, without further ado I would like to introduce Friday Favorites!!  This part of the blog will be under Kiley’s Corner, where you will from now on be able to find stuff that I post that is not necessarily a recipe, but things I want to share with you, weekly updates on life, etc.  For every week though, I will definitely be including a list of the week’s current favorite things, and then perhaps a bit extra as well.  I hope you enjoy, and I can’t wait for the weeks to come with this! :)

 

This week’s fave’s:

1. Warmer weather- I was able to spend time outside yesterday helping my sister with pruning and gardening things in the backyard, and it was enjoyable to be outside!

2. Since being home, I have not had homework.  As much as I love life at college, not having daily work to do for school is an incredibly relieving feeling :)

3. This Sunday, Efrain and I will be going to a Cirque du Soleil performance!! We are hoping that it will be good (aren’t all Cirque performances good?:) and I will be reporting back next week on it.

4.  This Oreo Cake from Sally's Baking Addiction.  I think I need to make some cake soon... :)

5. The changes Efrain made to the homepage- he created the new front page layout so as to show when we update Efrain’s Library and Kiley’s Corner.  This will let you know when we update things there, so be sure to keep an eye on that!

6. I am back at work for the summer (I work at a local bakery- no, I do not actually bake there!), and it is really great to see the usual customers come in and ask me about school and be excited that I am home for the summer.
