Welcome to Friday Favorites #4!  This is basically my space to rant about whatever I want, usually a few foodie things thrown in there as well :)

June is almost over.  Wait, when did this happen??  I don’t know about you, but this summer really has been flying by!  I have a lot of work I want to get done this summer, but the nice weather, ideas for new baking projects, and hanging out with friends has been keeping me away (at least, that’s what I tell myself as an excuse!).

1. I was able to go mini-golfing and get ice cream at Kimball Farms this week with some high school friends.  If you are not from MA, Kimball’s is a great place where they have fun outdoor activities and they make their own ice cream, with dozens of amazing choices.  Their ice cream is so good, especially on a warm summer day.

2. Speaking of ice cream, I cannot wait to share a recipe with you next week!  It is so good, I didn’t even have a chance to take any photos of the first batch because everyone in my house loved it so much (a.k.a. ate it all within about 2 days) and I had to make it again.  Hey, I’m not complaining! :)

3. I have finally started really reading my book for my project that I will be starting next semester.  It is called Attachment to Pets, and it is quite interesting!

4. This recipe from Chung-Ah (Damn Delicious) for Lemon Garlic Shrimp Kabobs…I wish I had these right now.  Lemon+shrimp+garlic+grilled is a combo I could eat every day!

5. The pizza we made at my house last week was so yummy!  A soft crust that was able to hold up the weight of toppings (mine had 6 toppings.  I like my pizza with some pizzaz!) but still deliver a great taste is always a treat.  Look for the recipe coming up soon!

6. When I was at Efrain’s house this week, his mom made dinner and (as always :) it was incredibly delicious.  Grilled chicken and shrimp in some kind of sauce so that it was juicy and tender and I had to restrain myself from grabbing one more piece.
