Strawberry Raspberry Lemonade Smoothie

Full of fun fruity flavors, this smoothie is a cool and refreshing way to beat the heat or start off your day with a smile!

Hey everyone!  Things are finally settling down around here- the semester is done, Efrain and I are back at our homes, and I am even almost entirely unpacked!  (Key word= almost).  Now that there is finally some time to breathe, I am excited to share this great recipe with you!  We love smoothies, as you can probably tell from this and this.  Especially now that the weather is really getting warmer, the cool and refreshing taste of this strawberry raspberry lemonade smoothie will have you relaxing and enjoying the warmth :)

When you try this smoothie, you will agree- the flavors complement each other so well, and you can differentiate the strawberry, raspberry and lemonade tastes if you can manage to drink it slowly enough.  I may have liked it too much to spend my time drinking it, but it is definitely worth it!  One of the best things about this smoothie is that it really only takes a few minutes to put together, and then you are all set- smoothie goodness to go!

But don't just take my word for it, these pictures also give you a glimpse of the deliciousness!  Make this smoothie as a morning energizer, an afternoon treat, or at any time in the day when you want a bit of extra refreshment!  The ingredients are simple and few, but they result in a delicious combination that will have you wanting more.  The good thing is that this smoothie recipe makes enough for 2, so you can share or save the rest for later!

Strawberry Raspberry Lemonade Smoothie

4-5 ice cubes

½ cup milk

Directions:
Place all ingredients into a standard sized blender.

Blend until smooth; we did about 20 seconds on low speed, 20 seconds on medium speed, and 45 seconds on high speed.

Pour into 2 glasses and enjoy!
